Artisan Fair! Bears & Bird Prints
It was a great day at the Tatla Lake Artisan Fair yesterday hosted by Karen and Roy, at the Roost located just a short drive from Eagle Bear Lodge. With the BBQ, homemade pies, bread, jams and other delicious desserts we certainly didn't go hungry. Our art gallery display of bird and bear prints were certainly enjoyed by many. Rare Nesting Arctic Terns Eagle Lake

See competitors saw giant logs in lightning fast time and enjoy some of the local food and fair. Just 2 1/2 hours west of Williams Lake to Tatla Lake. Look out for Duck Action!
There is a lot of duck action at Eagle Bear Lodge and around Eagle Lake. We are getting daily visits from white-tailed deer and ducks swimming about. In addition to our cabin rentals, we have great bird watching and wildlife viewing. Below, is a Lesser Scaup male duck, also known as a "Bluebill" and his partner a female Lesser Scaup Duck.


Spring Birds at Eagle Bear Lodge, BC
Spring has arrived at Eagle Bear Lodge. These last two weeks have been busy at our bird feeders with Rufous Hummingbirds and Calliope Hummingbirds arriving from their long journey south. We were delighted to see Western Tanagers and Orange Headed Blackbirds, and many other beautiful birds showing up along our 22 acres of nature trails.
