EAGLE BEAR LODGE
EAGLE BEAR LODGE is located on Eagle Lake, BC, Canada. Just east of Tatla Lake. A short flight from Vancouver to Williams Lake or Bella Coola. Located on HWY 20, east of Bella Coola and a 2 hours from Williams Lake, in the Chilcotin Region of British Columbia, Canada. EAGLE BEAR LODGE offers incredible views of snow- peaked mountains and glacier waters.
EAGLE BEAR LODGE is one of a few only lodges on a quiet lake, where you can see the snow-peaked mountains at all times of the year. There is an abundance of wildlife around the lodge. Sit back and relax and enjoy the views and the wildlife around the lodge and enjoy the sounds of nature or join one of the local ACTIVITIES to make your BC vacation complete.
Bird watch nesting Arctic Terns and White Pelicans at certain times of year. Eagle Bear Lodge is ideal for birding with a large variety of birds. Hummingbirds, Flickers, Woodpeckers, Semipalmated Plovers, Purple Finch, Warbling Vireo and more... There are plenty of activities from hiking, bird watching, canoeing, to snow shoeing, wildlife watching , photography and more.
DAVID HEMMINGS: A world-renowned bird and wildlife photographer who is known throughout the nature photography world for creating some of the most dynamic and impressive bird-in-flight images anywhere today. His work has been published on the cover of National Geographic, Canadian Geographic and has also appeared on the cover of other numerous nature photography publications including Audubon Magazine, On Feathered Wings, Birding Essentials and more.
Combining his photo passion, imagination and public relations expertise, he strives to introduce new, exciting and unique photo nature adventures. David loves meeting new people and sharing his passion for bird and nature photography with others.

Together with his wife, Jennifer Hemmings they decided to open a lodge in British Columbia where they can spend more time locating the best hidden areas for grizzly bear viewing, bear photography, bird photography and bird viewing. With more time dedicated to the BC area your experience at Eagle Bear Lodge will be memorable and an exciting adventure.
EAGLE BEAR LODGE ACCOMMODATIONS:
Log Cabins: All cabins have woodstoves, electricity, and running water, as well as being completely outfitted with kitchenettes, microwaves, use of BBQ, table and chairs, wood furniture, and fresh bedding. Each cabin has an incredible water views of Eagle Lake and the Niut Mountain Range. Daily housekeeping on request, breakfast for two people, use of BBQ, free internet, parking, use of canoes, kayaks included in rates. Reception / Gift Store open daily. We are FoodSafe Certified with breakfast included, lunch $16 and dinner $29.95 per person.

EAGLE CABIN: Log cabin with two queen beds on the main floor and two single beds in the loft. Kitchen with stove, and eating area with table and chairs. Private bathroom with shower, vanity, toilet. All linens, bathrobes, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer included.
LOON CABIN: Log cabin with kitchenette, table and chairs for 2. One queen bed and another queen bed in a separate bedroom. 2 single beds in the loft. Private bathroom with shower, vanity, toilet, Bathrobes, linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer.
MOOSE CABIN : Set further away, ideal for a couple looking for privacy. A traditional log cabin with a kitchenette, living room and a queen tradition log bed upstairs in the loft. A queen bed and futon on the main floor. Incredible view of the Nuit Mountain Range and Eagle Lake. Private bathroom with shower, toilet, vanity, bathrobes, linens, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hair dryer.

DEER CABIN: A traditional Log Cabin. An open concept cabin. A double and queen bed on the main floor with a fantastic view of the lake and snow peaked mountains. Woodstove, kitchenette. Bathroom and wash house, located nearby, 20 feet away.

BEAR LODGE: The main lodge, the meeting place for special meals and meeting new friends. Check out the art gallery, gift shop and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee, expresso, or tea with freshly baked cookies. One private room, double bed located on the main floor with a shared washroom available.
